Contrary to an earlier promise to remove  troops in 16 months, Obama follows the recommendation of Gates and Mullen and revises the time line for draw down in Iraq settling for a 19 month withdrawal.
Democrats are not happy with the number of troops said to be staying in Iraq after the draw down.
