It is with deep disgust that I write to inform you that Kris Allen is the winner of American Idol. Yippee, another year of trite bullshit pop ballads.
I find it sad that the contest became a contest of ideology, religion and politics.

The background singers sounded horrible but as usual it was a great performance by Adam. I’m still looking for the “One” video.
I hate to report that Allison Iraheta, the feisty, spunky redhead has been voted off American Idol. The 17 year old Allison shocked many of us with her mature voice and seasoned stage persona.
Hopefully this isn’t the end for Allison but just the start of a long and shining career.
