Magic Cookie Bars

Graham cracker crust in the bottom of a 9 x 11 baking dish ! ( to make a graham cracker crust, you melt 1/2 cup of margarine, combo with 1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs and smash it in the bottom of the dish. A big spoon smooths it out good.

Then layer one bag of SEMI SWEET CHOCO CHIPS
Then layer one bag of PEANUT BUTTER CHIPS.
Then layer one can of SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK, poured over top.
NOT EVAPORATED MILK.

Bake at 350 approximately 20 to 25 minutes. ( all times are approximate with me ‘cuz i threw out the recipe 10 yrs ago)

Bars are done when the milk is golden brown. Set them out about 10 minutes and HOG UP !!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Since we usually eat Christmas meal in the mid to late afternoon, we usually have this for breakfast on Christmas Day

Baked French Toast

Before bed on Christmas eve
Need
Loaf of french bread
8 eggs
2 c milk
1 1/2 c half and half
2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp cinnamon

3/4 c butter
1 1/3 c brown sugar
3 tbls corn syrup (light)

- Slice loaf of french bread diagonally in 1″slices
-Place arrange slices in buttered baking dish
Mix eggs, milk, half & half, vanilla and cinnamon and pour over bread slices. Refrigerate (covered) overnight

Next morning
heat oven to 350
In small saucepan heat butter, brown sugar and corn syrup and pour over bread and eggs
Bake for about 40 minutes
I love to top this with strawberry yogurt rather than syrup.
