I chuckled at my cousin who was locked in her house. You have to know her stoicism. She saw this as an opprtunity to meet her deadline for an article. She’s a tech writer and a “cloud” expert. But everyone kept calling her and emailing her all day. He was found about 12 blocks from her house. She said she got more work done on Saturday.

I haven’t been watching the coverage. All the speculation drives me crazy and we have no more real information. I turned it on briefly today and they were as in a tizzy about an arrest and I turned it right off again becaue it was obvious no one knew for sure.

My 91 yr old aunt is lucky enough to have 2 annuities through the state of WI from her years and her husbands, of being a teacher. They are no longer available to public employees. Yet even those payouts are going down thanks to Gov Walker and freinds in legislating that pot of money. 28 million out to pay state bills so far.
