I have never understood that kind of prejudice and have never felt that kind of prejudice. I’m a white southerner, but my parents never displayed racism and would have kicked our butts had we. One of my first acts of defiance was at the age of 17 when I walked out of a Baptist church over a discussion about inviting the local Black Baptist church for a Christmas event….I won’t go into the language that was used by the deacons, but suffice it to say, I was appalled and told them so and walked out.

And when I read republicans responses and their unbelievably ignorant justifications it’s par for the course. One republicans response actually said ”they weren’t throwing peanuts at her because of her being black it was because of her profession” unFU*CKING BELIEVABLE!!! the republican party is 87% caucasian 37% over the age of 65 yrs old this is a dying party literally!!
