Guess who came to dinner

Is it true? We don’t know for sure, but regardless it’s a cute photo.
A fawn followed this beagle home — right through the doggie door — In the Bittinger, MD area. The owner came home to find the visitor had made himself right at home. This hit the 6 o’clock news big time. Sure a nice change from the political news.
Boy, it’s darling. But wait, what did they eat? What does dinner have to do with it? Regardless, since it’s making its way well across the internet, our little hearts are hoping the story’s real — as Snopes is currently still on the case.
As this video shows, a fawn can fit through a doggy door.

The village of Warrens WI had a village deer called Buckly. He just showed up one day and started visiting people. He’d come right in their homes and watch them eat. Then he’d leave. He met a bad end when he got to showing up at the school and parents were concerned that someone would get hurt when he frolicked with the kids. The DNR put him down. Turns out he had the deer equivalent of Mad Cow disease.
But it was fun while it lasted.

@Sage, It is but Bucky got the urge to rut. Couldn’t help himself. He butted a man in the chest pretty good. His diet is what really did him in, to much human food,
