You know? If birth control wasn't so embarrassing, I don't think we'd see so much unprotected sex! Who here likes to buy 'regular size' when the magnums are staring us in the face?

Stupak is part of "The Family" and I'm beginning to think they have a lot more control than any of us realize.

As I read the intro paragraph to this post, my mind went to China somehow ... as i wondered, didn't the Chinese in communist China limit the Chinese people to TWO children per couple a while back. Aren't they still doing so? Didn't they force abortions for those who somehow (miraculously?) found themselves in the throes of having a third or a fourth child?
How can anyone in this government have the chutzpah (morals, really)to talk about repressive governments when repression is happening here all over the place ... like people being arrested in the senate's offices for wanting to talk to someone there. Repression here is coming in many forms and through many channels.
(Insurance companies and their limitations allowed by our very own government which protects them, being one of them.)
Yeah, it is true that the repression here is not about forcing women to have abortions (they claim) ... it is about forcing them NOT TO (although with the economy so precarious, and the government's refusal to expand needed programs to support people in dire needs, I wonder just how many women may be considering just that: having an abortion) ... the operative word in the central idea heare is FORCE/CONTROL whether for or against abortions or anything else, and that POWER AND CONTROL WHEEL used by many a counselor (and law enforcement agencies) delineated the use of force against anyone as a crime at most, a sin for still others, and always, always, a transgression against anyone, or any state, or any country ... and lo and behold, aren't we, ordinary American people having the .... squeezed out of us. We are.
Are we the American people even being allowed to think for ourselves? Are we being dictated to as to how we should think, what we should do? I think that in very subversive ways our government is doing just that and allowing others to do it in their name.
