I’ve always believed that hate consumes the hater and that hate spreads. What begins as hatred toward one group of people expands and other groups become the target of the hatred.

The Westboro Baptist Church….and using the term church is blasphemy, has expanded it’s hate and picketing beyond the target of homosexuals and have Jews in their sites now. I went to their picketing schedule page and I was appalled at the vileness of the comments directed toward Jews and women.

On 10/16/09 there is a call to picket National Council of Jewish Women referring to the council as Devout & Honorable Whores 543 N. Fairfax Ave.   Not content to leave it at that the schedule goes on to say:

“You need only read the story of the tribe of Benjamin in the book of Judges, and you see that God ordered the slaughter of all the people including all the married women and any woman who was not a virgin – because there were so very FEW of those! Shame on you women with your mouths and other areas continually open. When God describes your NATION’S rebellion, in fact he calls you whorish women. That shows how He despises you pushy, whorish women.”

Another scheduled picketing is listed for 10/16/09 at Yeshiva University Girls H.S. – Silly Girls GO TO HELL 2! 1619 S. Robertson Blvd. with the below dissertation included in the schedule:

You evil, hateful, loud-mouthed women have taught your young women and GIRLS to be the same as you. What Paul sarcastically referred to as “devout and honourable women”. Knowing what mischief you are continually up to and how you are the very opposite of the virtuous woman. WBC will be there to show your girls what women who Fear God look/act like. We have a testimony to give and you will hear, you will see and you will be mad.

Phelps has gone from leading a band of homophobic nut cases to a band of homophobic, anti-Semitic and misogynistic nut cases.

Westboro Baptist Attacks ‘Filthy Jews’ in New Videos

Fred Phelps’ Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) has ratcheted up its recent campaign against Jews with the release of virulently anti-Semitic music videos.

This latest gimmick is somewhat of a departure for the rabidly anti-gay group from Topeka, Kan. For years, Westboro has been notorious for disrupting the funerals of fallen American servicemen, among others, saying God is punishing them because of the “fag-enabling” ways of their country. In April, however, the group started picketing synagogues and Jewish cultural institutions, saying the Jewish community and its religious leaders condoned homosexuality and abortion. Then, in June, Westboro members went one step further, producing music videos that demonize Jews — all Jews — with blatantly anti-Semitic parodies of popular songs.

Phelps-Roper, an attorney for Westboro, proudly confirmed that the church had created the videos. She said she’d tell anyone who called the videos anti-Semitic to “shut up” and said she’s doing Jews a favor by letting them know they’ll be destroyed if they don’t repent. “I’m telling you, those Jews are filthy,” she said.
