My new laptop is a Dell as well as the desktop I’ve had for a number of years. I saw a Dell advertisement on the back of the Parade section of the Sunday paper and they had some great deals.

I know you’re not a dude!

I have a dell and will NEVER have anything else. I am not a computer savvy person and there may be lots of better pc’s for all i know, but I will tell u this…….. Dells customer service and warranty is ACES. I have spent millions of hours on the phone with them to walk me through issues and when I first got the pc, about a month or 2 later the disk drive went out. I called them and they had aguy at my house in an hour or 2 to fix it. He was here 6 o r8 minutes and gone, POOF! Fixed. So for me , personally, they made a customer for life. Also, i should say the issues that i spent hours on the phone with tech support were NOT dell issues due to bad pc. They were VERIZON :@ issues due to crap modem! LOL

Probably a dell. A lot of good deals right now. I need at least 3G memory. I tried someones out today. The big thing is to get XP.

Oh the modem thing. It went out a couple of times again with the new one, followed the cable to the splitter and tightened the cables. I think the problem is solved. My old 18 yr cat gets to running around on occaision and dives behind the tv once in awhile.
I did have to sign in here again. Maybe moderation recognized the other stuff.

I had to install a new modem. I now have a new IP address too. At least this happened before the new computer comes in a week or so.
Finally gonna break from the desk top.
