UPDATE: Holocaust Museum Shooter a decorated war veteran and white supremacist (Screen shots of his web page)
James W. Von Brunn, the shooter at the Holocaust War Museum is a white supremacist and a decorated war veteran. He is also a member of the conservative message board Free Republic. It happens Scott Roeder who shot Dr. George Tiller was also a member of Free Republic. Free Republic is right now scrubbing it’s site of posts made by Brunn just as they scrubbed posts of Roeder’s.
According to Joseph Persichini, assistant director in charge of the Washington FBI field office, authorities have dispatched people to a suspect’s home to check his computer. He said they are investigating this as a possible hate crime or domestic terrorism.
Below are screen shots of Brunn’s web page. (Click image to enlarge)

Well obviously if one or two people on the Free Republic do something heinous, everyone else on the board must evil too.
Just like because there are two dicks on the Daily Kos, everyone on the Daily Kos must be a dick.
Said most respectfully of course….
….and it’s Dr. George Tiller by the way.

Yes, it is and I fixed it. Thanks.
The guy who shot those cops earlier this year was also a Freeper. You can find a lot of hate speech and threats on that website on any given day. It’s not just one or two people.

Once again I just gotta say thanks to the dumba$$ for making all gun owners look like loons! Every single one of late, ( these shooters) have been crazy, extremists, irrational thought AND gun owners,,,,who thought they were about to lose their rights thanks to some other segment of society. To them I say , now gun owners are one step CLOSER thanks to your idiotic actions…….
I would think if one SEGMENT of the population were to be responsible for the whole nation losing gun rights, it would have to be the segment that uses their guns to kill for sport , or whatever he calls this!
The guy died , didnt he, the shooter?

I agree. I happen to be a liberal gun owner and I resent these crazy wackos making all gun owners look like dangerous nuts.

In 1982 or so, we got a computer at our house. We thought we were the S&*#&! Too. At that time I likened it to a video game. It never crossed my mind everyone would have one at some point. We played online mystery games, via phone modem. On the screen would be a sentence,,, ” you’re at the end of a road, there is a building to the left and a cave to the right, which direction do you want to go”’ and you’d type in left or right. and get more directions. THAT WAS THE WHOLE DANG GAME ! We played it for hours… Probably a genius move on my dad’s part to buy the thing because my siblings are now in computer/data fields and that is their living! Well, actually my living is online too, but I didn’t get a computer until about 6 years ago and had to start from scratch to learn it ! LOL…my things have changed !

About 1976 I was running central supply in a county hospital. One of the maintence men came in an introduced the concept of using computers in there. He was really excited. He said soon we would all have computers in our homes. All I could think of was the huge WANG computer in the basement of the science building at the university. It took up most of the room!
But over all I found his comments exciting as I had to enter everything by hand in a flip ledger type file. Do the math manually. Inventory was a nightmare and I did it all alone.

I remember getting a tour of the computer room of a government agency. The computer took up as much room as my house.
