The National Council for a New America?

This past week-end America was treated to what I call a potential furthering for Abuse of Power by the Bush family. It came in the form of, a Dupe, an emerging storefront for lies by power grabbers–headed and highlighted by none other than Jeb Bush.

While the “workings” of America was broken into a thousand and one pieces at the hands of the Bush II Administration and, while America is trying to find a way to rebound and mend itself from the cadaveric ethos in which the Bush II Administration left it … the likes of Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney, John McCain and Bobby Jindal are launching a series of town halls throughout the very soul of America, with the intent, they say, of listening to American hearts and voices for the purpose of gauging and then prescribing their perfect solution for a New America able to meet its healthcare and education needs of the 21st Century.

What a Dupe!

The Bushes, Reapers in Chief all of them of America‘s national coffers, posing now, in the person of Jeb Bush, as healers of America’s healthcare and Educational systems is farce elevated to its highest degree.

First of all, when has it been known that the Bushes have an ear for listening to the people of America, or of the rest of the world for that matter?

Secondly, if historical facts have a way of becoming a compass for truth, then, a look at some of Jeb Bush’s and Bush Family history might just provide a light into what might really be behind this Bush storefront for lies now known as The National Council for a New America.

Who can forget that in the 1980s, Jeb Bush, was associated with several “dark” Cuban characters in Miami, none the least of which was Miguel Recarey, and that according to Stephen Pizzo, Jeb lobbied Health and Human Services Secretary Margaret Heckler in favor of granting Miguel Recarey’s HMO, International Medical Center, a waiver allowing IMC to carry an 80% Medicare load all which translated into IMC’s billing and receiving Medicare Dollars in the amount of over 30 Million Dollars a month.

Who can forget that during his term as Governor of Florida, Jeb Bush opposed Affirmative Action in Florida Colleges in favor of his One Florida plan which scrapped Affirmative Action in college admissions and undermined the playing field for minority contractors bidding for state business.

Who can deny that Jeb has indeed internalized the family values and that, like his father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather, he favors the rights of the corporations over the rights of the individuals, and that he,
repeatedly attacked Florida state workers’ rights and made his state government a gold mine for Big Business.”

With the Bushes all, it is a case of, watch what they do, not what they say. So it should not have been any surprise to Floridians when Jeb Bush, as Governor of Florida dismantled many career jobs, allowing private corporations to take over many of these jobs. Unfortunately, there were people who were caught in the shock and awe wave of surprise.

While Jeb proposes to launch a listening tour (or has already launched such a listening tour) which he claims is aimed at finding solutions for America’s educational system, he implemented the F-cat in the Florida School system. A system criticized by many teachers because it is designed to teach students to give rote answers to rote questions, diminishing students’ ability to think or to use their creativity.

Like his brother before him and his father before the two of them, Jeb believes in Supremacy of the upper class, most specifically Bush Supremacy, otherwise, I believe, he would not have made it possible through voter intimidation and voter suppression, for his brother George W., and his father George Herbert Walker Bush, to steal from the American people and from Al Gore the Election of 2000.

As a direct result of such stolen election and bloodless coup d‘etat perpetrated on the American people, not once but twice by the Bush Family, and as a result of the unprecedented Bush mismanagement of our National Coffers and of our National fabric, America was torn into a hundred thousand sundered pieces at the hand of the Sunderer in Chief, who was certainly no steward of our economy, and who did not give a care about the parching out of our land, the drying out of a giving land, at the hands of the Sunderer in Chief, George Walker Bush and it is now suffering the consequences of the disastrous Bush power-grab.

And here, while America is desperately looking for oxygen to start pumping through its lungs again, while America is desperately trying to resurrect itself from the specter of a near death experience at the hands of GWB, Dick Cheney and Karl Rove, the Bush lurkers again plot to retake America so they can place its near to death body on a surgical table, to continue reaping whatever benefits are left in America for their own greedy need for power and control.

So, “The National Council for a New America,” (how original–not!) headed by Jeb Bush, whose hands are just as muddied up by the same dishonesty and lies which permeates through entire generations of Bush Family Values seems to have no qualms, in his, or his father’s, or their’s, desperate attempt to retain the White House as their own personal Country Club complete with “fresh towels every day, any time of day, and for as many times in a day that you take a shower“–a perk which Jeb himself admitted to being one the things he would miss the most after term limits ran him out of the Florida Governor’s Mansion.

“The National Council for a New America.” Wow! What an eerily similar name to, “The National Council of La Raza,” a national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy group dedicated to improving opportunities for Hispanic Americans in the United States.

Although … I seriously doubt that the intent of, “The National Council for a New America” is to improve the opportunities of ordinary Americans in the United States through improving their health care or their educational opportunities.

I tend to think of this “National Council for a New America, as another attempt by the Bush Family to push through another of their power grabs. One which would benefit, in addition to themselves and like their previous power grabs, only those who are in the direct circle of Bush Family Friends, or Bush Family Money Donors.

Then too, it is no surprise either that the name, “The National Council for a New America,” resonates so well with that other name, “The New World Order” … which holds that “there is a worldwide conspiracy being orchestrated by an extremely powerful and influential group of genetically related individuals to … create a One World–fascist–Government.”

Or, with Bill Kristols’ “The Project for a New American Century,” which, “propositions: that American leadership is good both for America and for the world; and that such leadership requires military strength (is this the nexus which McCain is providing in this National Council for a New America to the Bushes rather than to the America he loves?), diplomatic energy and commitment to moral principle. (and is this the Nexus that the face of Mitt Romney would provide to the Bushes Project for a New American Century?)” …

Beware of the Bushes and of the Bush Brain–Karl Rove–which thinks for them.

The National Council for a New America has the ring of such a brain–just like the compassionate conservative mantra did … a mantra which was used extensively by both Bushes in their merciless and ruthless, right out authoritarian, jackbooted need for power and control.
