Emails between Okoth Osewe and Sammy Korir
First I want to extend my thank you to Okoth Osewe of Kenya Stockholm Blog for being gracious enough to share this information with me and consequently the readers here.
I put the emails in reverse order from the screen shot to make it easier to follow the conversation.

Notice Sammy ignores the request for information he had previously said he would send.

Mr. Osewe discusses the lack of credibility in what Sammy is posting and Mr. Osewe declines to post Sammy’s articles at his site:

Korir:
These are the same stuff you published at “kenyanorway.wordpress.com”
before you pulled the site down. I have copies of the original
articles saved but they could not be used because they were all
anonymous. Your news site loses credibility if the real author of the
articles cannot be identified and almost no serious media can use the
stuff without running the risk of prosecution. The stuff on Kiboi
might not be very positive and spreading it unonymously through the
net might point to engagement in personal vendetta with the late
Kiboi. The site does not have any contact detail either.
The site can exist as a “personal blog” but if you want to use it to
spread news, you have to take responsibility for information processed
and published through the site. You can be sure that KSB will not use
any info from the site without proper attribution. Even if we were to
use “according to africapress” approach, someone should be able to go
to the site and trace the source of the story. Regards and keep in
touch.

Osewe,
Thank you for the advice. I will continue to build the site and make it a serous one.
Regards,
Korir
Here is a screen shot of the emails as forwarded to me. The only thing redacted is my email addresses. I forwarded the email to my home email for easier organization.
I’m having a bit of a glitch with my screen shot scrolling and capture program…it is leaving out the middle email from Korir…here is the section it is leaving out…..I’ll try yet again to re-do it later.
