MSNBC Takes Incendiary Hosts From Anchor Seat
It’s about time these two hacks were given secondary rolls….although it would have been better if they had been shown the door.
The bias they demonstrated during the Democratic Primary was disgusting, unprofessional and at times down right psychotic. From Obama giving Matthews tingles down his leg to Olberman’s ranting and ravings against Hillalry Clinton, MSNBC was an embarrasment to the news media.
MSNBC Takes Incendiary Hosts From Anchor Seat

MSNBC tried a bold experiment this year by putting two politically incendiary hosts, Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, in the anchor chair to lead the cable news channel’s coverage of the election.
That experiment appears to be over.
After months of accusations of political bias and simmering animosity between MSNBC and its parent network NBC, the channel decided over the weekend that the NBC News correspondent and MSNBC host David Gregory would anchor news coverage of the coming debates and election night. Mr. Olbermann and Mr. Matthews will remain as analysts during the coverage.
The change — which comes in the home stretch of the long election cycle — is a direct result of tensions associated with the channel’s perceived shift to the political left.

File this under the “too little, too late” category.
I actually think Matthews has gotten a bad rap by just working with Olbermann, but he has made some comments that are biased, but that happens and it is fine in my book.
Olbermann is a different story.

Thank you God! It’s about time!

The bad thing is that now I have to listen to Olbermann on NBC talking football! I can’t stand the sound of this guys voice! Thank goodness for music and other background noise.
I did send NBC an email letting them know my feelings on having to hear Keith while I watch football. Hopefully, I’m not alone.
I like that in the article it says MSNBC’s preceived shift to the left. If they shifted any farther left, they’d be on the right!
Just proves that Rupert Murdoch was right, Keith Olbermann is crazy!

Now if the media could do the same for Cambell Brown, she’s over the top for BO.

Andy, I feel for you. Nobody should have to listen to Olberman.

Tune it to Fair and Balanced Reporting on Faux News.
Yes, Matthews and Olbermann were leaning way too far for Obama. But Faux News is not without its faults. And there were times when O’Reilly and/or Hannity acted as de fact anchors during the primary season.

Just heard that Olberman and Matthews will continue to do their regular shows. They will not do debates and elections. Now what is that…they will continue to trash every woman and it will be alright..because it’s their regualr show!! Guess we need to give them another message.

Why shouldn’t they be allowed to do their regular shows? They’re commentary. Not everybody’s opinion has to coincide with your own. Watch Faux if MSNBC offends you so much.
You still have choice on TV…. unless Sarah Palin gets rid of THAT choice, too.

I believe that the removal of dissenting opinions and sharp pointed questions that cannot be answered by the Obamam campaign Need to be aired, or we won’t get them pinned down to an answer. This seems like nothing but Blackballing because these men ask the hard questions, and make people who are there trying to spin someone, squirm like pigs.

These men were cheerleaders for Obama and both have repeatedly been extremely sexist.

” These men were cheerleaders for Obama” is an understatement. And they were mind-f*ckingly sexist. I spent many hours calling and writing MSNBC pointing out their misogyny and bias. Phil Griffin and I are practically on a first name basis now.

I suppose their removal as anchors is a step in the right direction, however, I’m inclined to feel it’s too little too late. MSNBC has lost all credibility as far as I’m concerned because they wouldn’t recognize objective journalism if it jumped up and bit them in the behind.
